Now Let's Develop a story pitch Use the rest of our time together to create a News Pitch following the guidelines above on Worksheet 2.1. You can type out your entire story pitch and post it in Edmodo or you can write your notes in Word so that you are prepared to share when it is your turn. The theme of our story ideas is going to be St. Lawrence. You are able to expand beyond what we cover on a daily basis on Good Morning Mustangs- go deeper. What would be an interesting and engaging story that we could tell about St. Lawrence?
Depending on time, finish your pitch for homework if time does not allow. If we wrap up early, we will pitch our ideas aloud to the crew. 1. Team #2, #4 & #6 are RECORDING Good Morning Mustangs today. Begin Lesson 3.1 Production when you are finished.

2. When you are ready, you can move on to Lesson 2.2: The Art of Interviewing :) The Art of Asking Questions Interviewing can be very intimidating and sometimes a scary experience. However, it is part of a reporter's job to interview people they do not know on a daily basis. Have you ever called someone you did not know? What did you like or dislike about it? Cold calling is the practice of calling someone you don't know to get information from them. Open Worksheet 2.2A and read through the instructions and the advice on the worksheet. Each of you will be assigned a group and a Case Study Number. You then need to create a cold call interview based off of the situation. Evaluator- video tape the call and then video tape your thoughts on how they did based on the criteria. Post the video in Class Commons in the Villaluz Broadcasting folder.
